This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality administrative support to staff, patients, and families. It plays a key part in ensuring the effective provision of clinical resources and service delivery within a hospital setting, while also providing client-focused procurement services to staff.

About The Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:

- Work autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers in resolution of conflict, meet deadlines, establish work priorities, organise meetings and appointments.
- Provide procurement advice and develop effective relationships with clients, client groups, agencies, commercial suppliers and staff through liaison, negotiation and consultation to achieve delivery of a quality procurement service.
- Provide a procurement service for goods that include obtaining quotes and raising requisitions electronically and manually in accordance with the CHQ Delegations Manual and the Queensland Procurement Policy.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the CHQ Assets team to facilitate the creation of asset shells and purchase orders.
- Liaise with Biomedical Technology Services and Building, Engineering and Maintenance Service to facilitate equipment receipt, testing and tagging prior to delivery to the end location.
- Assist the Manager with the development and management of consignment agreements and service maintenance agreements for clinical consumables and equipment.
- Maintain an accurate register of all loaned equipment provided to another service or a family for use within the home environment,



including the follow-up of outstanding loan equipment items that are beyond their contracted period or that require an annual safety check.
- Perform secretariat function for relevant meetings (clinical, non-clinical, trade).
- Source and organise venue, equipment, stationery, seating and catering as required.
- Prepare agendas.
