As Product Manager, you'll own the roadmap and day-to-day delivery for one or more of Senatra's carer-facing product areas. You'll work closely with engineering, design and content to turn real carer problems into clear, buildable requirements — and make sure the team always has what it needs to ship. This is a hands-on role in a small team: you'll be close to users, close to delivery, and close to the decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Own product priorities and roadmap for your area, in partnership with engineering and design.
- Run regular user research — interviews, usability testing, feedback synthesis — and turn findings into decisions.
- Write clear PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can build from without back-and-forth.
- Make sure content, design and engineering always have the context and source material they need before work starts.
- Define content and safety requirements for AI-driven journeys — approved sources, uncertainty language, escalation pathways, ownership for ongoing review.
- Track and report on product metrics, and use them to guide what gets built next.
- Keep documentation and backlog current in our tools and easy for the team to navigate.
- Make commercially informed prioritisation calls — including saying no to smaller requests when a bigger, more repeatable chance is on the table.
About you
- 4+ years experience owning a consumer product area from discovery through to shipped, iterated features.
- Comfortable running user research yourself — in the room with real users, not just reading someone else's synthesis.
- Strong written communicator — you can turn ambiguity into a document someone else can act on.
- A team player who leads through clarity and initiative, not just title — we're small, so everyone leads something.
- Genuinely cares about carers and older Australians, and wants to build something that actually helps them.
- Comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of an early-stage team.
