Role: Lifestyle Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, vibrant, engaging, and experienced Lifestyle Assistant to join our team.

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing, independence and quality of life of our residents. Working as part of the Lifestyle Team, you will support the planning and delivery of engaging recreational, social, cultural, spiritual, and wellbeing programs that promote connection, purpose and enjoyment.

You will build positive relationships with residents, encouraging participation in activities that reflect their individual interests, preferences, and life experiences. Through meaningful engagement and companionship, you will help create a vibrant and inclusive environment where every resident feels valued, respected and supported to live life their way.

The Lifestyle Assistant works collaboratively with residents, families, volunteers, and the broader care team to deliver person-centred experiences that foster dignity, choice, belonging and emotional wellbeing.

About You

To be successful in the role you will:

- Have a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent)
- Have an understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Experience supporting residents in aged care
- A kind, patient, vibrant and empathetic nature
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Be committed to high-quality, person-centred and rights-based care




- Have a can-do attitude
- Experience supporting residents living with dementia – desirable
