About the role

Express Garden and Home Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Professional Cleaner to join our growing cleaning services team. This is a part-time position based in Newcastle, NSW. As a Professional Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to our residential and commercial clients, ensuring their properties are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential to our business operations and directly contributes to client satisfaction and retention.

What you'll be doing

- Performing thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and other designated spaces
- Using appropriate cleaning equipment, tools and eco-friendly cleaning products safely and effectively
- Following detailed cleaning schedules and instructions provided by management
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour whilst working in client properties
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning to management
- Ensuring all cleaning supplies are properly restocked and equipment is maintained in good working order
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and best practices in all cleaning activities
- Building positive relationships with clients and responding professionally to their requests and feedback

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a professional cleaner or in a similar domestic or commercial cleaning role
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet cleaning schedules
- Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderately heavy items
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliability and punctuality,



with a adaptable approach to part-time working patterns
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous manner with clients
- Current or willingness to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (if applicable to role requirements)
- A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport (desirable)
