Regional Assistant Director (Tweed)

Location: Tweed Heads NSW

Tenure: Full-time, 5-year renewable contract.

Position Purpose The Regional Assistant Director (RAD) has delegated responsibility to oversee and monitor the operational and educational performance of the region’s schools through strong Catholic educational leadership and commitment to student outcomes aligned to the Mission.

As the Catholic schools of the Diocese should be authentically embedded in the local Parish Community, it is essential that the RAD has open and regular communication with the Clergy, a cooperative leadership style when working with Principals and Clergy, and can coordinate the local educational endeavours, in line with system strategy, as required.

This position has a particular focus on regional planning, Principal and school leadership support, service coordination, Parish liaison and promoting cohesive relationships across the system of schools. As part of the DLCS leadership team,



this role supports the underlying Catholic Education Mission by providing support to improve overall system performance.

You will bring proven senior leadership experience within large, complex organisations with a record of delivering high-level outcomes in learning strategy and educational development. You are a strategic thinker who can clearly articulate direction, build the path to delivery, and demonstrate sustained improvement achieved through a collaborative, partnering approach with Principals, Clergy, and community stakeholders.
