About The Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Research Officer is an integral member of the research team with responsibilities to assist with, planning, implementation, coordination, data management and reporting of research projects conducted within the unit.

The Research Officer will have responsibilities across multiple projects at any given time across diverse areas. This will include assisting in the development and implementation of research protocols, ethics submission, project management, patient recruitment, data collection, data analysis and report writing.

The Research Officer will utilise their knowledge of clinical and health services research in the establishment and maintenance of productive working relationships with internal and external collaborators, departments and staff.

The days of work are adaptable and can be discussed with the successful candidate.

Ideal Candidate

- Health related degree and/or experience in research, clinical trials or relevant experience.
- Experience with clinical data extraction, REDCap database management, data linkage, ethics submissions is preferred.
- Excellent written,



interpersonal and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and participation in the presentation of research study findings.
