About the role

Mill Group WA is looking for an experienced Residential Designer / Draftsperson to join our growing residential construction and property development team. You will be responsible for taking projects from concept through to complete working drawings and approvals.

Key responsibilities

- Preliminary and concept designs

- Working drawings and construction documentation

- Site-specific residential designs

- Design amendments and client changes

- Planning and approval drawings

- Coordinating surveys, engineering and consultant information

- Reviewing setbacks, site constraints and developer requirements

- Working closely with estimating, scheduling and construction teams

About you

- Minimum 3 years' residential drafting/design experience

- Strong knowledge of the WA residential construction industry

- Proven experience producing complete working drawing packages

- Good understanding of residential construction, NCC and planning requirements

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

- Practical, organised and solutions-focused approach





- Experience in custom homes, grouped housing, developments, medium-density residential projects and NDIS is highly regarded
