About the Role
As Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day retail operations of the store, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, profitability and team performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, motivate and develop the retail team
- Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Manage stock levels, merchandising, promotions and inventory
- Monitor and improve department performance
- Ensure the store is presented to a high standard at all times
- Manage rosters and staff performance
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training
- Implement promotional campaigns and maximise sales opportunities
- Monitor stock loss,
short-dated stock and dead stock
- Ensure store policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed
- Work closely with the Pharmacist Manager and business owners to achieve store objectives
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has senior retail experience
- Has strong leadership and people-management skills
- Is commercially minded and motivated by achieving targets
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, proactive and able to multitask
- Has a strong understanding of stock management and visual merchandising
- Can coach and motivate a team to achieve results
- Is confident working in a busy retail environment
