THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity exists at one of Australia's leading commercial furniture manufacturing and solutions companies for an experienced Administration and Accounts (Receivable) Clerk.
We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused and organised professional to join our Adelaide team. This is a permanent part-time position working 15 hours per week across 3 days, based in our Adelaide showroom and office.
This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts receivable and administration functions of the business, while providing excellent internal and external customer service. Working closely with the State Manager and broader team the role offers a supportive team environment, flexible working arrangements and the prospect to be part of a business that values its people.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES
Reporting to the State Manager, the key accountability of this role is to support the financial and administrative operations of the Adelaide team through effective accounts receivable management,
administration support and maintaining accurate records and processes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts receivable activities.
- Following up outstanding debtor invoices and deposits as required.
- Managing the issuing and retrieval of bank guarantees and retentions.
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Processing customer invoicing.
- Preparing and processing journal entries.
- Setting up new suppliers and customers within Pronto.
- Providing administrative support to team members.
- General office administration duties.
- Assisting with stocktake activities, including monthly showroom stock reconciliations and annual stocktakes.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with company processes.
- Supporting a positive team culture and upholding company values.
- Undertaking additional duties as directed by the State Manager.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable and administration.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Experience using Pronto (highly regarded).
- Experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing and journal entries.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude.
