About the role

As a Refrigeration Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical training that prepares students for rewarding careers in the sector. Drawing on your industry expertise, you'll create inclusive learning experiences, assess student progress, and support learners to build the skills, confidence and capability needed for success.

Working collaboratively within a passionate teaching team, you will also contribute to curriculum development, continuous improvement initiatives and high-quality education outcomes.

What you'll do:

- Deliver engaging and industry-relevant Refrigeration training
- Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Support student progression and identify learners requiring additional assistance
- Develop and maintain training and assessment resources
- Participate in moderation, validation and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain accurate student records and compliance requirements
- Create safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Foster industry engagement to ensure training reflects current sector practices

Qualifications and experience:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/22) - mandatory




- Current industry experience to maintain vocational currency
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Ability to design and deliver logical, succinct, up-to-date and engaging course materials and lessons
- Ability to use learning management systems (i.e. Moodle) to create innovative and engaging learning experiences for students
