About the role

ICOOKED is seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver / Support Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. Based in Toowoomba, QLD, this role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring that our delicious meals reach customers promptly and in excellent condition. You will be the face of iCooked to our customers, playing a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for quality and community service. Our customers span a wide range of people from Support at Home aged care, to wholesale, corporate clients and back to the general public. A love of people (especially those in our over 80s community) is a must for this position!

Key responsibilities

- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies

- Load and unload packages and goods from delivery vehicles with care and attention

- Provide relief reception support to our Admin Support Officer on Thursdays

- Plan and execute delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer delivery schedules

- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain payment if required

- Communicate professionally with customers, addressing any queries or concerns regarding deliveries

- Assist with stock management and warehouse operations when not on delivery runs

What we're looking for

1. Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle class being operated (manual or automatic)

2. Police Check and Yellow or Blue Card or willing to obtain

3. The ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems

4. Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries

5. Skilled customer service skills and a courteous, friendly demeanour including a great phone manner

Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry parcels and goods safely

7. A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or at-fault accidents

8. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines

9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining safety standards

10. Basic IT skills

11. Available to work 8am to 1.30pm Tuesday to Friday (20 hours)
