The Gut Brain Clinic is inviting Clinical Psychologists, General Psychologists and Health Psychologists to join our Coorparoo practice.

About the Practice

We are a practice focusing on gut-brain psychology and women's health psychology. We also take general psychology referrals, allowing for a flexible case mix.

Common presentations include:

- IBS and functional gut disorders

- Anxiety, depression, and stress (with or without gut symptoms)

- Chronic health conditions with gut-brain components

The team is small and includes psychologists, gut-directed hypnotherapists, and a dietitian. Referrals come from GPs, gastroenterologists and other specialists.

This position is ideal if you're interested in gut psychology or would like to build skills in this area.

The Arrangement

- You practise as an independent contractor with your own ABN.

- Revenue split is negotiable based on your experience.

- You can choose your own days and hours.

What we Provide





- Consulting rooms and full administrative support for scheduling and billing, so you can focus on clinical work.

- Referral pathways from GPs and specialists

- A collaborative peer network with regular MDT discussions

- We also offer training on gut health issues and support with gut hypnotherapy training if you are interested in pursuing this.

What we're Seeking

- AHPRA registration

- Qualified indemnity insurance

- ABN

- Experience with gut psychology, health psychology or women's health is helpful but not essential.
