About the position

Our client is looking for a Dentist to join our clients’ team in Tumut, with the intention of transitioning the right clinician into a future Principal/Owner role.

This is ideal for an experienced all-rounder (or a confident improver) who enjoys comprehensive general dentistry, values continuity of care, and wants to build something long-term with a loyal and busy patient book.

You’ll have clinical autonomy and the support to deliver end-to-end care across a broad scope, including:

- Comprehensive exams, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventive care
- Restorative dentistry including composite fillings and complex cases
- Crowns, bridges and smile rehabilitation planning
- Root canal therapy and pain relief dentistry
- Extractions and management of dental emergencies
- Teeth whitening and cosmetic enhancements where appropriate
- Dentures, relines and ongoing prosthetic maintenance
(If you enjoy implants, Invisalign-style aligners, or other advanced treatments, our client is open to supporting growth based on suitability and demand.)

Succession focus:
This role suits a Dentist who wants more than “just an associate position” - someone motivated to lead clinically, nurture patient relationships,



and gradually take on the responsibilities that come with stepping into a Principal/Owner position over time.

Key Requirements

- AHPRA registration (or eligibility) as a Dentist in Australia
- Strong general dentistry skills with a patient-first approach
- Confident communicator who builds trust and long-term rapport
- Interest in long-term stability, leadership and succession progression
- Team-focused attitude and commitment to quality care
