The Opportunity
You will join one of the largest specialist Family Law teams in New South Wales outside of Sydney.

The firm offers the resources and complexity of work that can be difficult to find within the local market, while maintaining a collaborative, supportive and people-focused culture.

You will manage a varied caseload of parenting and property matters, including high-value and commercially complex cases. You will also have access to experienced practitioners, Accredited Specialists and lawyers with more than 20 years of Family Law experience.

You will be trusted to manage your matters with autonomy, while knowing experienced support is available when you need it.

What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will:

- manage Family Law matters from initial consultation through to resolution
- work across parenting, property and financial matters
- handle complex and high-value cases
- appear in court and continue developing your advocacy capability
- provide strategic, practical and empathetic advice to clients
- build trusted relationships with clients and professional referrers
- mentor Graduates and Junior Lawyers
- contribute positively to the team and broader firm culture
- continue developing your technical, commercial and leadership skills

About You
You will ideally have at least five years of post-admission experience in Family Law. Applicants with four years of strong and relevant Family Law experience may also be considered.

This opportunity may suit you if you:

- can confidently manage files from commencement through to resolution
- have experience across parenting and property matters
- are comfortable managing complex or high-value work
- have advocacy experience and confidence appearing in court
- enjoy mentoring and supporting less experienced lawyers
