We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our teams across Alstonville Family Dental and Maven Dental Lismore.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working with patients and supporting the clinical team. We can offer stable, consistent hours across 2–3 days per week, making this a great fit for someone looking for ongoing casual work.

Job Description

Working across both our Alstonville and Lismore clinics, your day will include a combination of dental assisting and reception responsibilities, including:

- Assisting dentists during clinical procedures
- Preparing and setting up surgeries
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, friendly experience
- Answering phones and managing patient enquiries
- Booking and confirming appointments
- Processing payments and assisting with general administration
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinic
- Supporting the wider team wherever needed

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:





- Friendly, approachable and patient-focused
- Reliable and organised
- Comfortable working across both clinical and reception duties
- A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous dental assisting or dental reception experience is preferred, but we are open to the right person with a strong customer service background
- Available to work 2–3 days per week with secure, ongoing hours
