We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Painter Tradesperson to join our purpose-built facility in Kenwick. About the Role

Working within our paint department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint preparation, spray painting and final presentation of transport equipment, including trailers, trays, bodies and associated components. Your work will play an important role in ensuring CQE continues to deliver industry-leading transport solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Spray paint new, repaired and refurbished transport equipment using 2-pack paint systems
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, sealing and finishing activities
- Deliver high-quality paint finishes to company and customer standards
- Complete paint touch-ups and rectification work as required
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of spray booths and blasting facilities
- Support sandblasting operations where trained and competent
- Maintain safe work practices and high housekeeping standards
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the paint department

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:





- Hold a relevant trade qualification and/or have at least two years' relevant experience
- Have experience in automotive, transport, mining, agricultural or industrial painting
- Be experienced in the preparation and application of 2-pack paint products
- Have a strong focus on quality, presentation and attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Maintain a positive, safety-focused and "can do" attitude
- Take pride in producing high-quality workmanship
