The Role: Cook

- Cook delicious, healthy and nutritionally balanced meals using our Nido Menus
- Purchase food and supplies for the kitchen
- Ensure dietary and allergy requirements and restrictions for every child are supported by having thorough knowledge of risk minimisation and communication plans
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times





What You’ll Bring

- Certificate II or III in Commercial Cookery - desirable
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate - required
- Experience working in a childcare or aged care setting
- Valid WWCC
- Robust understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
- Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 October must provide evidence of completion of the mandatory National Child Safety Training via Geccko, including Foundation Training (courses 1&2) and Advanced Training (courses 3&4), or be willing to obtain these certifications prior to employment.
