FIFO from Perth | Pilbara, WA | 2/1 Roster | Major Rail Infrastructure Project

We are seeking experienced Electricians with a background in Rail Infrastructure, Rolling Stock and/or Solar to join a major Pilbara rail level crossing upgrade project.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant rail infrastructure program involving the upgrade and replacement of solar and power systems supporting BHP rail level crossings across the network.

About the Role

As an Electrician on this project, you will be involved in:

- Electrical installation, upgrades and maintenance within the rail corridor
- Upgrading and replacing solar and power systems supporting rail level crossings
- Working with electrical infrastructure associated with critical rail assets
- Working safely within a high-risk rail and mining environment
- Contributing to a major, long-term rail infrastructure program

Roster & Location

- FIFO from Perth
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster
- Pilbara-based rail infrastructure project
- Camp accommodation and site-based facilities provided

About You

We are looking for experienced Electricians who can demonstrate:

- Proven experience in Rail Infrastructure, Rolling Stock and/or Solar
- Previous mine site experience – essential
- Experience working in high-risk environments
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work effectively within a rail corridor




- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Rolling Stock Electricians are encouraged to apply.

If you have a strong Rolling Stock background and are interested in transitioning into rail corridor electrical works, we would be particularly interested in hearing from you.

This opportunity is not suited to candidates entering the mining industry for the first time. Previous mining/site experience is essential.

Required Licences & Tickets

Applicants must have:

- WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting
- Low Voltage Rescue (LVR)
- First Aid & CPR
- 4WD Training
- ITM867082 – WAIO ARC FLASH HAZARD AND PPE THEORY
- ITM867084 – WAIO SAFE WORK ON LOW VOLTAGE THEORY

The ITM867082 and ITM867084 courses can be completed on site after mobilisation, where applicable.
