Salter Brothers Hospitality Group is seeking Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to join their teams.

Task and Responsibilities:

- Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, enhancing their dining experience, creating those tailored experiences
- Forge loyal relationships with guests to promote repeated clientele
- Handle guest complaints and feedback with a focus on resolution and satisfaction
- Act as an ambassador for our SBH values, ensuring every interaction with both guests and team reflects these values
- Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to ensure the restaurant is always presented to an impeccable standard




- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage team members during the shift to ensure productive operations
- Motivate, coach, and mentor the food and beverage team to achieve service excellence.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, and accurate stocktakes.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing labour costs, ensuring rosters align with budget and business needs
- Remain updated with the Food and Beverage departments budgets and targets and work closely with the Restaurant Management team to achieve these targets
- Always Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Ensure all incidents and injuries are addressed immediately, documented, investigated and corrective actions implemented;
- Ensure Salter Brothers Hospitality Risk Management Policy, program and the application of sound risk management practices within the workplace and community are always observed and complied with

Skills and Experience:

- Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven management experience working in hospitality/customer service environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and get results.
- Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
- Technical product knowledge in food and wine.
- Understanding of budgets and forecasting.
- Knowledge of POS and end-of-day reconciliation procedures
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
