About the Opportunity

Our client is a specialist engineering consultancy focused on the design, operation and integrity of long-distance slurry, water and associated pipeline systems.

Working across Australia and internationally, the business supports clients from early studies through to detailed engineering, operations, troubleshooting and optimisation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their West Perth-based team.

This is a senior technical and client-facing opportunity suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working directly with clients and developing the next generation of engineers.

The Role

You will take a leading role in delivering pipeline studies, designs and technical advisory assignments across mining and resources projects.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and contributing to pipeline engineering studies from concept, PFS and DFS through FEED and detailed design.
- Developing and reviewing design criteria, technical reports, specifications, calculations and engineering deliverables.
- Providing technical leadership across hydraulic design, mechanical design, operating philosophy, pipeline integrity and associated infrastructure.
- Reviewing engineering work and maintaining technical quality across project deliverables.
- Working directly with clients to understand project and operational objectives and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Leading technical discussions, workshops and project meetings with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supporting site investigations, commissioning, troubleshooting and operational improvement activities.
- Mentoring and developing junior and intermediate engineers.
- Contributing to the development of engineering methods, tools, standards and technical knowledge.





The position is predominantly Perth-based, with occasional short-duration travel to project sites and client locations in Australia and internationally.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced pipeline engineer with strong technical capability and the judgement to operate effectively within a specialist consulting environment.

Ideally, you will have:

- A degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or related engineering discipline.
- Significant experience in pipeline engineering, preferably within mining, slurry, water, tailings or long-distance pipeline systems.
- Experience delivering engineering studies and designs across multiple project stages.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, mechanical design, pipeline systems and operational considerations.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- The ability to independently develop, review and defend technical recommendations.

You will play an significant role in developing the broader engineering team through mentoring, technical reviews,



knowledge sharing and helping junior engineers build their technical judgement.
