About the Position
As Lecturer – ICT, Cyber Security & Digital, you will inspire and support the next generation of ICT professionals by delivering engaging, industry-relevant training across ICT, cyber security and digital technologies. You’ll deliver competency-based training in areas such as networking, computer systems, Microsoft 365, programming and artificial intelligence, while creating flexible learning experiences that help students succeed.

Working closely with industry, students and internal stakeholders, you’ll develop contemporary training resources, maintain high-quality assessment practices and ensure delivery meets ASQA, VET and industry standards. You’ll also contribute to short courses, industry engagement and new training opportunities that respond to the evolving digital skills needs of the Northern Territory workforce.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

- Demonstrated experience providing training within an educational institution or within a workplace.
- Experience in researching and developing training tools to meet the needs of students and/or industry clients as per ASQA requirements
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including communicating culturally sensitively with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages.
- This position may include remote education delivery that requires the lecturer to travel to remote Indigenous communities throughout the Northern Territory (including central Australia). This may involve a significant amount of time in travelling, and requires a willingness to stay in varying accommodation, including camping.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at VET Academic Level A.



The base salary will be in the range of $76,604 - $114,924 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $89,626 - $134,461 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
