Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to manage a portfolio of High-Net-Worth risks. You will underwrite high-value private accounts, build and maintain strong broker relationships, and contribute to portfolio management and performance over time.

Responsibilities

- Underwrite a portfolio of High-Net-Worth risks across a range of high-value accounts.
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships, including engagement with international broker markets.
- Work alongside the distribution team to support broker onboarding, presentations, and product education.
- Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and profitability, and contribute to strategic decisions around underwriting appetite.
- Contribute to system and process improvement as the product scales.

Candidate Profile

You are a technically strong underwriter with solid High-Net-Worth personal lines experience, a commercial mindset,



and the confidence to manage a specialist portfolio with a degree of autonomy.

- A minimum of 5 years' underwriting experience, with a focus on High-Net-Worth home and contents.
- Strong technical knowledge of High-Net-Worth home and contents underwriting across high-value residential risks.
- Established broker relationships in the High-Net-Worth personal lines market.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of portfolio management and loss ratio management principles.
