Hartley Glass is looking for an experienced Projects & Operations Coordinator – Glass & Glazing to join our team in Wingfield.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Glazier, Senior Glazier, Leading Hand, Estimator, Supervisor or glass industry professional who wants to use their practical industry knowledge in a broader project and operational role.

Working closely with the Management, you will coordinate domestic glass replacement and commercial glazing projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to ordering, scheduling, installation and completion. You will be a key link between our customers, suppliers, glaziers and management.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinate glazing jobs from enquiry through to completion

- Review plans, measurements, specifications and job requirements

- Prepare quotations and ensure labour and material requirements are accurately captured

- Schedule measures, manufacturing, deliveries and installations

- Coordinate glaziers, installers and other resources

- Select appropriate glass, hardware and associated products

- Prepare material requirements and place supplier orders

- Monitor pricing, availability and lead times

- Liaise with builders, commercial clients, domestic customers and suppliers

- Keep customers informed about scheduling and job progress

- Identify and resolve job, site and installation issues

- Maintain accurate job, quotation and order information

- Help improve operational systems,



processes and workflows

About you

Glass and glazing industry experience will be highly regarded. This role would particularly suit an experienced glazier looking to progress into project and operational coordination.

You'll ideally have:

- Strong practical knowledge of glass, glazing, hardware and installation

- The ability to interpret plans, measurements and specifications

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs

- Experience with quoting, estimating or job costing

- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

- Robust customer service and communication skills

- Confidence dealing with builders, customers, suppliers and trades

- A practical, solutions-focused approach

- The ability to take ownership and follow jobs through to completion

- Confidence using or learning job management, scheduling and quoting systems
