Job Description

Reporting to [insert Position Title], the position includes the following responsibilities:

- Read, understand and apply the SCT Multilift Operator’s Instruction Handbook
- Operate equipment as per all applicable laws in NSW including the Heavy Vehicle National Law & Regulations




- Use of MT Data as per instructions
- Use of Onboard Mass Systems as per instructions
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Adhere to instructions for alternative redeployment tasks during mill stoppages
- Comply with the conditions of entry at all mill sites, pads and business premises
- Meet agreed timeframes by complying with statutory fatigue breaks, including the co-ordination of fatigue breaks where necessary

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Essential

- HC or MC Licence
- Good Driving Record
- Professional Driver skills
- Literacy & numerous skills relative to the workplace
- Good communication skills

Sound understanding of;

- Heavy Vehicle National Law
- Local area knowledge
- Chain of Responsibility law
- Onboard Mass Systems
- MT Data systems
- Fatigue management – work and rest requirement (standard hours – solo drivers)

Desirable

- Chain of Responsibility training
