- Monday to Friday roster - Day shift (10:00 - 18:00)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking for an enthusiastic and motivated Inventory Officer to join our agile and collaborative operations team at Karawatha. In this role you will be responsible for the accuracy of inventory and ensuring timely processing in the system of all information relating to Distribution Centre (DC) stock, including stock movements and deliveries. You will ensure inventory levels are appropriate to support the dispatch schedule and that the distribution requirements of the DC are carried out safely, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Day to Day you will:

- Be responsible for ensuring the physical stock on hand in the DC is accurate and reflects the inventory levels in the inventory system

- Assist with the DC component of all stock takes and the management of the process for consignment products

- Reconcile cycle counting and computer results on a weekly basis, and as required

- Escalate immediately any major stock variances to the Inventory Controller and Central Supply team in Head Office.

- Maintain the DC product locations and pick path.

- Ensure product rotation and shelf life checks are completed daily

- Maintain operations compliance within legislative and customer driven requirements and adhere to Quality Assurance and Environmental policy i.e. out of rotation, out of temperature and other non-conformances

- Encourage and drive a culture of engagement and continuous improvement within the workplace

About You:





- Demonstrated inventory experience, ideally within a similar role in either a Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse and/or Transport industry

- Experienced in comprehending inventory reports with a keen eye for detail

- Ability to build and foster long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Intermediate IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

- Prior experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
