Join the Production & Treatment Alliance (P&T; Alliance), a partnership between SA Water and SUEZ, responsible for operating and maintaining critical water and wastewater infrastructure across metropolitan Adelaide.
We are seeking a hands-on Pump Station Operator / Maintainer to support the operation, maintenance and reliability of wastewater pump stations and associated assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment using SCADA systems.
- Perform planned, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
- Undertake isolations, permitting and contractor coordination.
- Operate crane trucks and other site equipment.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
About You
- Experience in wastewater, utilities, industrial or similar operational environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding capability.
- Understanding of pumps, valves, pipework and maintenance activities.
- Safety-focused with the ability to work independently.
- Understanding of wastewater pump station operations.
- MR Licence - Advantageous
- Truck Mounted Crane/Dogging High Risk Licence - Advantageous
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Computer skills.
