F & J Bitumen Services Pty Ltd is a family-owned and operated Northern Territory civil contractor specialising in asphalt, spray sealing and road maintenance across regional and remote networks.

We deliver works across major NT contracts, including highway maintenance. Working in demanding conditions, we focus on quality workmanship, safety and consistent delivery.

Opportunity

We are seeking highly experienced asphalt operators / labour's to join our team across ongoing NT projects.

This is a casual position to commence, with the opportunity to transition to full-time for the right candidate, suited to those who can step straight into a production-driven crew and deliver quality outcomes under varying site conditions.

You will be working across a range of road maintenance and asphalt works, including sealed road maintenance, pothole repairs, asphalt paving (mill & fill), and projects throughout regional and remote Northern Territory locations.

Positions Available (Experienced Only)

- Paver Operators

- Screed Hands (level Hands)

- Roller Operators (steel drum & multi tyre rollers)

- Skid Steer / Bobcat Operators

- Asphalt labours

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out asphalt paving and finishing works to required standards

- Maintain consistent levels, joints and finish quality

- Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently





- Work as part of a high-performing crew to meet daily production targets

- Follow site safety requirements, SWMS and project specifications

Skills & Experience Required

- Minimum 2+ years asphalt experience (essential)

- Solid understanding of asphalt placement, compaction and finish

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

- Plant operator licences required for roller, paver, front-end loader, and skid steer equipment

Mandatory:

- Construction White Card

- A current driver's licence is required for this role - Highly desirable HR license and above.

Highly Regarded:

- Relevant plant tickets SOA'S / VOCs

- Previous remote work experience

These roles are not suitable for entry-level applicants
