About the Role

Working within IT Operations and reporting to the CTO, the IT Support Officer keeps the technology behind RealtyAssist running smoothly. We're a fast-growing Proptech serving a national network of agencies — we depend on reliable systems, and this role is the internal first point of contact when they don't behave.

It's also a genuine growth role. Based in Perth with a hybrid work arrangement, you'll sit close to our engineering practice and have hands-on exposure to cloud technology, ai, CI/CD, DevOps and CloudOps alongside core system administration — the foundations for a career in modern infrastructure.

Working alongside our contracted managed service providers (MSP) for NOC and SOC solutions, and our internal product development team, you'll provide day-to-day support to internal users across our core business systems and devices. Our MSP carries most of the frontline workload for contracted services, so your focus is triage and coordination: responding to support tickets, managing onboarding and offboarding as staff join and leave, diagnosing and routing issues across our in-house platform and desktop environment, maintaining hardware and software inventories, and assisting with system upgrades and deployments as required. You'll also monitor system performance, escalate complex issues to relevant team members or external vendors, participate in our support roster, and document solutions so problems get solved faster the second time.

Beyond day-to-day support, you'll contribute to projects that improve our security posture,



business continuity and platform capability.

Working closely with our product and delivery team, you'll help minimise downtime and maintain a stable, secure technology environment that lets the rest of the business focus on customers.

What you'll bring

- A solid grounding in IT fundamentals — operating systems, basic networking, and common MS business application administration.
- A troubleshooting instinct: the patience to work a problem methodically and the judgement to know when to escalate rather than keep digging.
- Genuine empathy for the person on the other end, not just a ticket. Our users aren't technical, and a calm, human response matters as much as the fix.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts without jargon.
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple requests and judge what's urgent.
- The ability to work independently and know when to pull in the team — particularly important in a hybrid setting.
- A qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Some coding experience to deliver infrastructure, automation / quality outcomes.
- Have the rights to work in Australia.

Nice to have

- Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role, ideally in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Hands-on desktop support experience — hardware setup, software installation, configuration and maintenance, terraform experience.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), ticketing systems, or Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with real estate or financial technology platforms.
