With our exciting clubhouse refurbishment nearing completion, we are entering an exciting new chapter, with refreshed hospitality spaces, a recent wine cellar and private dining room complementing our existing dining and events offering.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and play an significant role in delivering high-quality food across our restaurant, functions, events and member dining.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head Chef and working closely with the wider kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining consistently high food preparation, presentation and service standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality food to Club standards.

- Working across various sections of the kitchen as required, including preparation, service and functions.

- Ensuring consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.

- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of weddings, corporate functions, events and special occasions.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient section throughout service.

- Ensuring food is prepared and stored in accordance with food safety requirements.

- Working collaboratively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team.

- Supporting junior kitchen staff and contributing to a positive team workplace.

- Assisting with stock rotation, preparation and maintaining appropriate stock levels.

- Following Club procedures, food safety requirements and workplace health and safety standards.





- Contributing ideas and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and presentation.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a professional and hardworking kitchen team.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar commercial kitchen role.

- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety.

- The ability to work efficiently and calmly during busy service periods.

- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on consistency.

- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and the ability to follow direction.

- A genuine passion for quality food and delivering a great dining experience.

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications & Experience Required

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

- Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role.

- Food Safety Supervisor certification, or willingness to obtain.

- Current Australian working rights.
