About the role

We are seeking a Trade Assistant or Apprentice Panel Beater for our busy workshop. If you are interested in a career in the automotive repair industry, this could be the role for you. We encourage applications from candidates of all ages, including mature-aged apprentices.

Whether you’re starting your career or looking for a career change, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn.

Duties

The successful applicants will provide support to our Panel Beaters and learn how to panel beat with duties including the following:

- Assisting technicians as required.

- Removing, repairing, and replacing damaged panels.





- Welding and joining replacement panels.

- Ensuring all repairs meet industry standards and safety regulations.

- Collaborating technicians to achieve optimal repair outcomes.

- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

- Workshop cleaning duties (sweeping etc).

No previous experience is required as all on the job training is provided.

Benefits and perks

Wages are based on the current award rates. We are a busy shop so the chance for overtime is also available.
