Project Engineer – Utilities Infrastructure

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join an established infrastructure project team based in South Perth.
This is a hands-on project delivery position, working across programme coordination, project reporting, cost control, documentation and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider project and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing project scope and ensuring works are delivered in line with contractual requirements
- Preparing and issuing technical and commercial project documentation
- Maintaining project documentation and document control processes
- Identifying project risks and contributing to risk reviews
- Monitoring and tracking project costs against budget
- Preparing accurate and timely project progress reports
- Supporting programme and schedule management
- Assisting with procurement activities
- Attending internal and client project meetings
- Supporting lessons learned and non-conformance investigations




- Working closely with site and field teams throughout project delivery

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Previous experience within a construction or infrastructure environment
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach
- Experience across project reporting, cost control, scheduling and documentation
