Core responsibilities

- Plan interpretation: Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams
- Welding execution: Performing high quality MIG, TIG and other specialised welds
- Team collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Welting Team to ensure smooth, efficient and timely installations
- Quality assurance: Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship and structural integrity across all projects
- Safe tool operation: Safely operate a wide range of manual hand tools and heavy duty power tools
- Material Selection: Select the correct filler metals and consumables for each job based on blueprint specifications or practical experience

Kingspan manufactures, delivers, and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to residential, commercial, and rural clients.

What do you need?

- 2 years experience in Welding or a similar role
- 2 years experience in MIG Welding, measurements and assembly skills, and ARC Welding
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to pass a visual weld test
- Ability to work as part of a team, or alone as needed
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to operate hand and power tools

- Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia
- Undertake a pre-employment urine drug and alcohol test
- Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position
