About the role

As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the venue. You will be a key player in the leadership team, getting the best out of the team and driving the business forward. You will be expected to be competent in all front of house departments which include bars, bistro, gaming and cash handling. This role has the potential to grow and develop you as an individual having exposure to all facets of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the day to day business expenses including labour costs, bar and food gross profits

- Manage stock control

- Drive functions and event revenue

- Coach and motivate the team

- Ensure customer satisfaction

- Manage all front of house departments including bars, bistro,



gaming and cash handling

- Think outside the square and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the business forward

About you

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management role

- Previous hospitality management experience in a leadership position

- Strong knowledge of Pub operations

- Solid understanding of financials

- Food, wine and beer knowledge

- Robust gaming background

- RSA and RCG

- Ability to obtain advanced RCG

- Hands-on leader with the ability to coach and motivate the team

- Ability to multi-task
