This role will elevate how Fremantle Football Club uses data to drive decisions and create value. Building on our solid foundation in IT services, insights and analytics, you will bring deep data engineering expertise to accelerate our shift to a truly data-driven organisation. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery to deliver future-ready solutions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive General Manager of People, Strategy & Community, you will lead our Data and Technology Function, with direct reports in IT, data engineering and analytics engineering. Your focus will be enabling evidence-based decision-making and driving innovation through data, automation and AI.

The scope of the role will include:

- Defining and delivering the Club’s data and technology strategy.
- Overseeing the building and optimising data pipelines, integrations and governance frameworks.
- Leading digital innovation, including automation and AI/ML adoption.
- Partnering with business units to embed data-driven decision-making.
- Elevating data quality, security, and compliance standards.

What your will bring

We are seeking a candidate who brings:

- A degree in IT, Data Science, Computer Science or related field or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Strong background in data engineering, governance and enterprise data strategy.
- Experience building scalable data platforms and pipelines in cloud environments.
- Ability to balance team leadership with hands-on technical delivery.




- Current or willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
