About the role

SJM Sportsturf are seeking an Apprentice Sports Turf Management / Greenkeeper to join their team in Pennant Hills, NSW. This is a full time position, where you will play a key role in the maintenance and care of high-quality sports turf surfaces.

What you'll be doing

- Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of bowling greens, including mowing, edging, fertilising, and aerating turf

- Operate and maintain turf care equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and sprayers

- Identify and treat turf diseases, pests, and weeds

- Assist with the installation and renovation of sports turf surfaces

- Collaborate with the team to ensure playing surfaces meet high standards of quality and safety

- Participate in ongoing training and development in sports turf management- attending Tafe 1 day a week.

- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team





- A willingness to learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training
