About the role

The Stock Controller will play an important role for the company with management of project stock, componentry and consumables.

Management includes entire lifecycle responsibility of inventory including ordering, warehousing, logistics, reconciliation, cost allocation, financial control and reporting.

This hands-on role requires constant factory floor interaction and also requires high level computer skills including experience with building and implementing inventory programs and systems that optimize stock control and real time stock visibility and accuracy

Duties and tasks

- Understand and support delivery of project timelines by ensuring stock is available when needed

- Management and reporting of inventory, stock visibility and stock accuracy

- Timely ordering of stock, componentry and consumables

- Management of key stock suppliers

- Maintaining stock levels in line with company policies

- Track movement of all stock items through entire lifecycle

- Overseeing factory deliveries and dispatch plus inbound and outbound movement of stock





- Daily stock management and monthly stocktake with timely documentation and reporting

- Collaboration with management, finance, production, project and factory teams

- Assist with forecasting

- Investigation of discrepancies

- Management of two inbound-outbound / factory staff members

- Proactive adherence to all WHS requirements
