Sydney | $110,000 - $120,000 + Super (Pro Rata)

An established and highly regarded organisation is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its People & Culture function on a fixed-term basis.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and is confident managing an end-to-end payroll environment. You will work closely with the broader People team while having a high level of autonomy across the payroll function.

The role is offered across 4 days per week, with a hybrid working arrangement.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- End-to-end payroll processing
- Payroll reconciliations and variance analysis
- Processing employee changes, adjustments and payments
- Maintaining accurate payroll data and records
- Preparing payroll reports
- Responding to payroll queries
- Working closely with the People & Culture team
- Supporting payroll-related projects and process improvements
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within required deadlines

About You

We are looking for someone with:

- Strong end-to-end Australian payroll experience




- Previous exposure to ADP Payforce highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent reconciliation and variance analysis skills
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your workload
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical and proactive approach to problem solving
