Your week…

Reporting to the Owner, your number one priority is the successful day-to-day running of the venue, supported by the Head Chef and between 10-20 team members (depending on the season), lovingly referred to as "Papi's people".

Your team will be your biggest challenge, but you already know this. The current jobs market means our employment offering needs to be strong, and your training and development skills will add to the list of Papi's people benefits.

Rye is a seasonal town, so customer experience and community relations is your bread and butter. All of your time is spent in service, supporting your team through continuous training and development, and being one of the main faces of the business. You'll quickly build relationships with locals and embed yourself as an active member of the Rye community.





Your organisational skills will be paramount, juggling team management, venue presentation and upkeep while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the venue.

Papi's was built by a dynamic team of mates and we had a clear vision – a casual beachside spot with great food and booze – somewhere we want to frequent!

We soft launched on new years eve 2021 with covid still peaking, one manager, no chef, no casual staff and 4 pizzas on the menu. Since then, we've built a profitable business with a great team of hard-working locals of all ages and experience levels.

Sitting opposite the beach on the main strip, and no longer the 'new kid on the block', we've entrenched ourselves in our iconic corner spot. Papi's is a favourite amongst locals and weekenders alike.

We know Papi's still has room to grow. We're looking for the person to help support that growth – with the enthusiasm to accept the challenge and drive Papi's to the next level. We want to meet you.
