The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure, through the Motor Vehicle Registry (MVR), is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer (AO3) to join its team in Katherine.

What you'll be doing

- Delivering professional, friendly customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.

- Assisting customers with vehicle registration and driver licensing enquiries and transactions.

- Providing clear information and guidance on MVR products, services, policies and procedures.

- Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Handling cash and EFTPOS payments and completing daily reconciliations.

- Maintaining accurate customer records and data.





- Supporting customers from a wide range of cultural and community backgrounds.

- Contributing to a collaborative team environment that focuses on quality service delivery.

What we're looking for

You will be someone who:

- Enjoys helping people and delivering outstanding customer service.

- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Can confidently work with technology, databases and multiple computer systems.

- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy when processing information and transactions.

- Works well under pressure and can manage competing priorities.

- Understands the importance of privacy, confidentiality and professionalism.

Previous experience in customer service, administration, retail, banking, hospitality, contact centres, or cash handling roles will be highly regarded.
