Regent Motors Group is seeking an organized and detail-focused Costing Clerk to join our Head Office team in Subiaco.

This position is responsible for accurately costing repair orders, processing manufacturer warranty claims and maintaining complete and compliant records. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts or automotive warranty experience who enjoys working with numbers, systems and detailed administrative processes.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Accurately completing the costing of repair orders

- Assisting with additional departmental costing duties

- Preparing and submitting warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

- Maintaining accurate, current and legible records of all submitted claims

- Completing monthly warranty claim reconciliations

- Managing the storage and return of warranty parts when requested

- Preparing transport and hidden damage claims

- Maintaining correspondence, service letters, technical bulletins and Standard Repair Times guides

- Discussing policy write-offs with the relevant Service Manager or Assistant Manager

- Keeping up to date with manufacturer warranty policies and decisions

- Identifying and reporting issues that may affect departmental efficiency or service quality

- Building effective working relationships across departments





- Contributing ideas for process and quality improvements

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- Previous accounts, costing or warranty administration experience

- Sound knowledge of manufacturer warranty claim guidelines

- Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail

- Accurate data-entry and computer skills

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

- Clear written and verbal communication skills

- A professional and courteous telephone manner

- The ability to priorities tasks and meet deadlines

- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across departments

- Experience within the automotive industry will be highly regarded
