Based in Varsity Lakes, our open-plan office encourages collaboration at all levels and across teams. Our team

Our Corporate & Commercial team advises clients across the Gold Coast, Australia and internationally. We partner with privately owned businesses, franchisors, high-growth companies and investors on a diverse range of corporate and commercial matters.

The team is known for delivering practical, commercial advice while fostering a collaborative and supportive culture. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners, take ownership of meaningful matters, and continue developing your technical and leadership capability in a high-performing environment. About you

You are an Associate or Senior Associate with approximately 4-6 years' post-admission experience and a strong background in franchising,



corporate, and commercial law. You enjoy working closely with clients, taking ownership of complex matters, and contributing to a collaborative team workplace.

- 4-6 years' PAE with solid experience in franchising, corporate and commercial law;
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills;
- Experience managing transactions and coordinating internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience advising on business structuring, shareholder arrangements and corporate governance matters;
- Experience with share transactions, including share issues, buy-backs and financial assistance processes;
- Experience advising on Corporations Act compliance and broader regulatory matters;
- Mergers and acquisitions experience;
- A commercial and practical approach to solving client problems;
- The ability to mentor and support junior lawyers; and
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues.
