We're looking for a passionate and community-minded professional to help lead alcohol and other drug (AOD) prevention initiatives across the Esperance region.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing people together, building partnerships and driving positive community change.
If you've worked in alcohol and drug prevention roles, in community development, health promotion, youth services, mental health, education, public health, local government, Aboriginal health, social services or similar fields, we'd love to hear from you.
Why This Role is Different
As AOD Prevention Officer, you'll work closely with local organisations, community groups, schools, health services and government agencies to reduce alcohol and other drug-related harm and support community wellbeing.
You'll help identify local priorities, coordinate prevention activities, deliver education and awareness initiatives, and strengthen partnerships that make a real difference to people's lives.
This is an opportunity to influence community outcomes at both a local and regional level while being supported by an experienced and values-driven team.
What you'll be doing
Building strong relationships with community organisations and stakeholders
Supporting local alcohol and other drug prevention initiatives
Coordinating community education and awareness activities




Assisting with the development and implementation of local action plans
Facilitating meetings, workshops and training sessions
Collecting and reporting on program outcomes
Working with partners to improve community wellbeing and reduce harm

$92,274 salary + regional allowance + super
