About The Role

Whitehaven Coal are seeking experienced Technicians to join our dedicated team at Maules Creek mine providing support and maintenance on a large variety of Operational Technology systems across the mine infrastructure and mobile fleet. You will utilise your strong fault finding and problem-solving skills in a challenging and fast paced workplace which requires minimal response times.
What You'll Do
Working across a range of systems and technologies, you will deliver high quality solutions for:
Site telecommunications including mesh, CCTV and industrial networks
Two-way radio systems and radio/Wi‐Fi point to point links
Fleet management systems
IT and OT systems including network monitoring and security systems
Demonstrate visible safe work practices, managing risk and acting as safety role model every day
What You'll Bring




Trade qualification in either Electronics and Telecommunications, Auto Electrical or Electrotechnology (or other relevant tertiary certification)
Mine site experience (desirable)
ACMA open cabling licence (desirable)
Strong time management, troubleshooting & problem-solving abilities
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
