About The Role
You'll join our General Insurance team, working across a broad range of construction and engineering disputes for insurers and insured clients. The role offers exposure to complex defect,



indemnity and liability matters, including large-scale litigated claims arising from construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day conduct of commercial litigation matters with appropriate supervision and support
Drafting correspondence, pleadings, submissions, affidavits and other court and tribunal documents
Appearing at mediations, settlement conferences, tribunals and court hearings
Preparing clear, practical and commercially focused advice for clients
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Managing client reporting requirements and client portal obligations
Working closely with colleagues across the team on complex and interesting matters
Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers, graduates and seasonal clerks
About You
Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate in New South Wales
Have 3+ years' PAE, with experience in construction, engineering and/or property insurance matters
Experience acting in subrogated recovery matters is advantageous, but not essential
Enjoy working directly with clients and building trusted professional relationships




Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Are able to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Take a proactive and collaborative approach to your work
Are a genuine team player who is professional, client-focused and committed to contributing to a positive team culture
