About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Credit Officer to join our award-winning team in Archerfield, Brisbane.
This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.
Responsibilities
Conduct customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accounts
Resolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholders
Review and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level
Complete and return all reports to the Credit Team Leader
Respond to customer and stakeholder email and telephone enquiries.
Complete administrative activities including banking, processing of refunds, customer account maintenance, credit applications.

About you
Previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal and external customers
Work effectively in a team environment, with a willingness to support other team members to achieve required outcomes.
An openness to adapting to change.
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial information with strong technical / mathematical background
Strong Microsoft Office skills
