We're seeking an experienced Social Media & Content Officer to develop engaging content, manage social media channels, and deliver impactful digital communications that keep the community informed and connected.
Key responsibilities n
n
Manage and grow Council's social media presence across multiple platforms
n
Develop and deliver social media strategies and digital campaigns
n
Create engaging written, video and visual content
n
Manage website and intranet content
n
Monitor trends, community sentiment and social media performance
n
Provide communications advice and support across the organisation
n
About you n
n
Relevant tertiary qualification in journalism, media, communications,



web content or similar
n
Experience managing social media for a medium to large organisation
n
Strong writing, editing and content creation skills
n
Experience developing communication or social media strategies
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and build solid stakeholder relationships
n
Experience with website content management and digital communications
n
Desirable n
n
Local government experience
n
Knowledge of SEO, accessibility and online content best practice
n
Speech or media writing experience
n
