Job Description

What you'll be doing
n
n
Advising managers and stakeholders on employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies.
n
Coordinating HR activities across the business and guiding managers on required processes and best practices.
n
Providing accurate, timely advice on a wide range of HR and IR matters with varying levels of complexity.
n
Ensuring compliance with industrial instruments, including pay accuracy, minimum entitlements, and regular reviews.
n
Supporting leaders with employee grievance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
n
Managing disciplinary and performance‐related processes end‐to‐end, including documentation and recommendations.
n
Preparing HR documentation and correspondence as required.
n
Responding to internal and external HR queries and requests.
n
n
Recruitment & Onboarding
n
n
Managing full end‐to‐end recruitment - screening, interviews, references, medicals, contracts, and onboarding across multiple business units.
n
Delivering engaging orientations and onboarding experiences.
n
Maintaining HR systems, employee records, and data integrity.
n
Reporting on recruitment metrics such as demographics, experience,
and workforce trends.
n
Designing and managing recruitment campaigns, including apprenticeship and traineeship programs.
n
Building strong relationships with group training organisations, apprenticeship networks, universities, and vocational institutions.
n
Leading the development and oversight of
apprenticeship/traineeship
programs to support employee growth.
n
n
General HR Operations & Projects
n
n
Supporting and delivering a range of HR projects, policy reviews, and strategic initiatives.
n
Overseeing offboarding processes, including exit interviews and follow‐up actions.
n
Providing mentoring and support to junior HR team members.
n
Assisting with claim management and working with external specialists to coordinate Return‐to‐Work Plans and maintain injury management records.
n
Coordinating HR administration, events, and general support for management.
n

The Successful Applicant
n
About You: You'll thrive in this role if you're a confident communicator, a natural problem‐solver, and someone who enjoys working across both operational and strategic HR. You bring strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and care.

What a Successful HR Advisor Brings
n
n
5+ years of HR experience, with strong capability in industrial relations,
including performance management, disciplinary processes, EA/award interpretation, recruitment, and project work. You will also play an active role in the implementation of a new enterprise management system.
n
Experience working in blue‐collar industries such as manufacturing, transport, or construction.
n
A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
n
Willingness to travel across NSW, VIC, and QLD.
n
