Ground Connect is supporting a growing Western Australian geotechnical consultancy seeking to add one or two new people to its team.
n
We are interested in speaking with both:
n
n
Engineering Geologists or Geotechnical Engineers with approximately 1-4 years' experience undertaking site investigations and field-based work; and
n
More experienced professionals (6+ years) looking to combine technical delivery, project management, proposal writing and client interaction.
n
n
This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of geotechnical and engineering geology projects throughout Western Australia while building practical experience in the field and developing strong client relationships.
The Role n
Responsibilities may include:
n
n
Geotechnical site investigations
n
Logging and supervision of drilling programmes
n
Working in accordance with AS**** requirements
n
Preparation of factual and interpretive reports
n
Construction support and field inspections
n
Proposal preparation
n
Project management
n
Client liaison and stakeholder engagement
n
Travel to project sites across Western Australia
n
n
For more experienced applicants, the role also offers opportunities to take ownership of projects and assist in managing client relationships.
About You n
To be considered, you will ideally have:
n
n
A degree in Engineering Geology,



Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus
n
Experience undertaking geotechnical investigations or engineering geology work
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to work effectively with clients, contractors and project teams
n
A commitment to safety and compliance with company and client procedures
n
A current unrestricted WA Driver's Licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
The ability to travel to site when required
n
n
Experience within the WA mining industry will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
