Join a passionate school community where every student's strengths are celebrated and every journey matters.About the Role:As the Vocational Trainer, your responsibilities include but not limited to:Liaise and network with schools, industry and the general public to discuss matters associated with the provision of job opportunities for students.Meet the reporting, attendance and behaviour requirements as stipulated by the School for the management of absenteeism, facilitating appropriate assessment processes to enable recording and tracking of competency completion and work placement progress to ensure all aspects of the training program are satisfactorily achieved for students and to ensure Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance.Monitor the routine and non-routine maintenance of any equipment or appliances used in the delivery of the program, including the maintenance of systems relating to the management of consumable stock control.Ensure compliance with the Vocational Education and Training (VET)



Quality Framework for all training and assessment activities, facilities, equipment and resources at all times.Work collaboratively with the School VET Program Coordinator to deliver program curriculum that enhances the transition from school to employment ensuring work ready students for employers and facilitate appropriate assessment processes enabling recording and tracking of competency completion and work placement progress, ensuring all aspects of the training program are satisfactorily achieved for students.Deliver Certificate I vocational programs to students in Years ***** with disability, with disability-specific knowledge and experience highly regarded.A Training and Assessment (TAE) qualification is highly desirable, however applicants who are willing to obtain the qualification are encouraged to apply.Interested?
