is seeking a
Permanent Part-Time Dental Assistant
to join our established and supportive practice.
Working
Tuesday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:15pm
, with a one-hour lunch break, this is an chance to settle into a consistent routine while continuing to build your career in dental.
We welcome applications from experienced Dental Assistants who are looking to grow their skills and establish themselves in a permanent position. We also encourage applications from individuals who are genuinely interested in starting a career in dental and can demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Job Description
As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting clinicians chairside during appointments and procedures
Supporting our Dental Therapist during appointments
Preparing treatment rooms and setting up for patients
Resetting treatment rooms between appointments
Sterilising and managing instruments in line with infection control standards
Maintaining high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene
Keeping clinical areas clean, stocked and organised
Supporting patients throughout their appointments
Helping patientsfeel comfortable and positive about their dental visits
Working closely with clinicians and the wider practice team to keep appointments running smoothly
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous Dental Assistant experience, or is genuinely interested in starting a career in dental
Enjoys working with peopleand helping them feel comfortable
Is reliable,



organised and takes pride in their work
Communicates confidently and professionally with patients and colleagues
Is willing to learn and develop their dental assisting skills
Can work confidently in a clinical environment and follow infection control proceduresTakes a patient-focused approach to their work
